Roundup Blog Post

This week we’re doing something a little different! Instead of a blog post about the piece that I painted this week, I decided to have some fun and do a roundup blog post instead.

Relaxing Video of Me Blending This Dresser, With No Talking

If you saw last week’s blog post, I did a grey blended chest of drawers that was huge! It was just one part of a furniture set and this week the smaller dressers needed to get done. So if you want to watch the video, after the intro, I turn on some relaxing music and just paint, using the exact same blending techniques and colors that I did last week. No talking at all! That’s why I’m not blogging about it right now. It would be repetitive if you tuned in last week. If you have a bit of free time and love to watch the process, grab a coffee or your favorite beverage and let’s get started! Click the link below to watch the YouTube video.

Just me and some relaxing music. Watch me paint this piece from start to finish.

Discussing Creative Burnout and Setting Boundaries in Today’s Roundup Blog Post

Every Tuesday I make a 10 minute video where I talk about my industry. It’s called Ten Minute Tuesday’s With CrysDawna and you can find them on my YouTube Channel. This week I talked about creative burnout and setting boundaries. Yes, I’m talking about furniture painters, but this applies to any industry! Trust me, we all go through it so if you need a pick-me-up, check it out and I hope it helps you!

Want More Furniture Painting Inspo?

As part of my roundup blog post, I wanted to introduce one of my favorite furniture painters! I don’t know about you but I love seeing what other furniture artists are creating and Connie Clarke from FAFF Designs is one of my faves! If you don’t know her, give her a follow, she’s a fellow blogger with awesome tutorials. Just look at this amazing parrot cabinet makeover! Digging Through the Archives in Today’s Roundup Blog Post

And finally, in today’s roundup blog post, sometimes I like to look back at pieces that I’ve done and this week is a good one! It’s from waaaaay back in early 2019 but I still love it! Check out how to add this style to your boho furniture: https://bellarenovare.com/2019/04/create-this-unique-look-to-add-to-your-boho-decor/
